Job Summary (UK VISA SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE FOR DESERVING CANDIDATE):

We are looking for a talented Tandoor and Curry Chef with a deep passion for Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes, especially those from the Curry and Tandoor sections. You should be able to manage kitchen operations efficiently and maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

Cooking and Preparation: Skillfully prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, focusing on curry and tandoori items.

Ingredient Management: Source and select high-quality ingredients to ensure authenticity and flavor in all dishes.

Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen organized and maintain cleanliness according to health and safety regulations.

Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and supplies are well-stocked.

Cost Management: Oversee product costing to maintain profitability while ensuring top-quality dishes.

Staff Training: Work under the supervision of the Head Chef to help train kitchen staff, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.

Menu Development: Innovate and contribute new ideas to the menu, keeping up with culinary trends and customer preferences.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a chef specializing in Indian cuisine, particularly in Curry and Tandoor.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent culinary skills and a creative approach to cooking.
  • Experience in a fine dining restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Culinary qualification or relevant culinary training.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 certificate.
  • Professional demeanor and strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £31,700.00 per year
