Job Overview
As a Carer at Lavender Court, you will be part of a team that provides the highest standards of care, safety and cleanliness for the people who live here. You will actively promote everyone’s right to privacy, choice and independence and support our open, positive and inclusive culture.
Working in a holistic way you will be expected to make each residents day as fulfilling as possible through communication and compassion. You will also need to be able to complete digital care planning records to a high standard. We are rated as Good by Care Quality Commission, and are looking for talented individuals to join us we have day shifts available
- You do not need to have worked in care before as full on going training will be provided. Assist service users who need help with dressing, undressing, bathing and toileting needs
- Help and support service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities such as incontinence; help in the care and use of aids and personal equipment.
- Help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users through talking and supporting them.
- Cleaning of lounges and communal areas on a night.
- Answer call bells, the door and the telephone; if required
- Read and write reports in case notes.
- Complete in house training
Applicants must be 18 years and over and will be required to undertake a DBS (paid for by the company)

Night Carer
Two nights per week
7:00pm – 7:00am
*Additional hours available to cover annual leave
Monday to Sunday pro rota

Pay: £12.30 to £18.45 per hour
Expected hours: 24 hours per week
