AII Medicine is seeking a reliable and professional Virtual Medical Receptionist to manage incoming phone calls and support our patient-facing operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls in a courteous, professional, and timely manner
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Verify patient information and accurately document interactions
- Route calls appropriately to clinical or administrative staff
- Provide general information about services, office procedures, and next steps
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Support smooth day-to-day communication between patients and the care team
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office, call center, or customer service role
- Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize calls, and work independently in a virtual setting
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional work environment
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications
- Experience using Tebra (formerly Kareo) EHR
- Background in customer service training or onboarding new staff
- Familiarity with medical terminology and appointment workflows
