Legal Administrator – Financial Mis-Selling Department
Location: Manchester
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are working on behalf of a reputable and well-established legal firm in Manchester who are seeking a proactive Legal Administrator to join their specialist Financial Mis-Selling department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail and an interest in supporting complex casework within a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to Fee Earners and the wider Financial Mis-Selling team.
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documentation and correspondence.
Manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately stored, updated and compliant.
Handle incoming enquiries from clients, third parties and financial institutions, ensuring a professional and timely response.
Maintain case management systems by entering data, updating progress notes and tracking key deadlines.
Assist with bundling, collating evidence and preparing documentation for claims. Support the onboarding of new clients, including ID checks, engagement letters and case setup.
Produce high-quality reports and summaries as required.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure cases progress smoothly.
Perform general administrative duties including scanning, filing, scheduling appointments and diary management.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a legal administrative role or similar professional services environment.
Strong knowledge of administrative processes
Experience within financial mis-selling or litigation is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to prioritise workloads, manage competing deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
