Tigerlily seeks a part-time Data and Information Manager to improve how data is organized, accessed, and used across systems. This role requires 3 to 5 years of experience managing and reporting on data, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment. The manager will oversee the structure of SharePoint, enhance the use of Monday.com, and support accurate, secure, and compliant data practices that strengthen reporting and impact.
The role involves mapping where data lives, maintaining and improving SharePoint, optimizing Monday.com, and ensuring information is properly managed and retained. The manager will also make recommendations for better use of existing systems, support HIPAA compliance, and build consistent data practices across teams.

Key Responsibilities
· Identify and maintain visibility into where organizational data resides across systems.
· Organize and maintain the SharePoint site for usability, consistency, and compliance.
· Recommend improvements for Monday.com and other systems to strengthen data management.
· Develop and document records retention procedures aligned with legal and policy standards.
· Maintain a central inventory of systems, data owners, and retention categories.
· Compile and analyze data for programs, grants, and impact reporting.
· Write and maintain documentation for data access, lifecycle, and reporting procedures.
· Ensure all practices align with HIPAA compliance and privacy requirements.
· Provide guidance and training to staff on new data processes and systems.
· Support other data-related requests that help advance the team and organization.
Qualifications
· 3 to 5 years of experience in data or information management.
· Strong knowledge of SharePoint (structure, metadata, permissions, and administration).
· Proficiency in Monday.com (workflow automation, permissions, and reporting).
· Understanding of CRM data management and system integration.
· Familiarity with HIPAA and secure data handling.
· Experience developing records retention processes and documentation.
· Advanced skills in Excel (data cleaning, formulas, pivot tables).
· Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams and personalities.
· Demonstrated commitment to health equity and women’s empowerment.
· Experience in nonprofit, compliance, or health advocacy environments preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates with one or more of the following:
· Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
· Certified Information Governance Professional (IGP) or Certified Records Manager (CRM)
· Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) or Certified HIPAA Security Professional (CHSP)
Position Details
Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Level: Management-Level Contractor
Hours: Approximately 15–25 hours per week
Duration: 90-day probationary contract, then renewed for 6 months
Compensation: $45-$50 per hour
