Contract Role: Data Migration / Data Entry Specialist (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Migration / Data Entry Specialist to support a critical system transition project. In this role, you will help transfer and validate information from a legacy platform into a new system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and smooth decommissioning of the old environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in detail-driven tasks and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately migrate data from the legacy system into the new platform.
• Review, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with business units to prioritize and clarify data requirements.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report data inconsistencies or errors.
• Maintain organized records of migration progress and completed tasks.
• Assist with system testing to confirm successful data transfer.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in data entry or data migration projects.
• Ability to navigate within Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Automate platforms.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage large datasets and repetitive tasks with consistency.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Clear and professional communication skills with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, or CRM systems.
• Basic knowledge of data validation or cleaning tools.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and platforms.
