Full job description

The Inventory Records Clerk at Kole Digital is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, including all in-bound and out-bound transactions. The role involves maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the stock through the implementation of appropriate procedures and controls, as well as providing reliable and pertinent information to management to assist in the strategic planning and negotiation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record all incoming and outgoing merchandise, ensuring all transactions are correctly documented and recorded
• Maintain and update the inventory records system daily to reflect current stock levels
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to accurately track product movements
• Conduct regular physical inventory audits, reconciling any discrepancies, and amend records as required
• Prepare and present inventory reports to management, indicating the current stock levels, forecasted stock levels, and any outstanding orders or issues
• Assist with the planning of future inventory needs based on historical sales data and forecasting techniques
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control or a similar role
• Strong understanding of inventory management practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong numerical skills and comfortable handling large amounts of data
