About Us
SetSail Global provides English Language Arts instruction to students ages 6–17. Our curriculum focuses on reading comprehension, writing development, debate skills, and critical thinking. Classes are taught online in a 1:1 format with materials provided.
Schedule & Hours
Typical teaching availability needed:
- Mornings: approx. 7:00–10:15 AM Eastern Time
- Weekend Evenings: approx. 8:00–11:15 PM Eastern Time (Fri/Sat)
Minimum of 3 classes per week (each class is 1–1.5 hours).
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview stage and is based on experience and role fit.
Responsibilities
- Deliver online English lessons using company curriculum and materials
- Provide feedback on student progress
- Adapt instruction based on student needs and learning levels
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
Qualifications
- Top US 20 Universities: Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a university program
- Native or C2 English proficiency (no Mandarin required)
- Experience working with students or tutoring preferred
- Comfortable teaching in a virtual 1:1 environment
- Ability to commit a minimum of 6 months
