Full job description
Personal Assistant to Andrew Hart (Founder / Advisor)
Location: London preferred (hybrid). Remote considered for the right person
Type: Part-time
Start: ASAP
About the Role
I’m Andrew Hart, founder of Hartspace, advisor to founders and executives, and a frequent speaker. I work at high speed across multiple projects and value focus, clarity, and real human communication.
I’m looking for a smart, grounded Personal Assistant who can help structure my days, protect my focus, and keep things moving calmly and efficiently.
This is not a traditional admin-only PA role. You will be a thinking partner as much as a doer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a dynamic calendar across time zones
- Protecting focus time and keeping days intentional
- Daily verbal check-ins to clarify priorities
- Managing inbox and messages, drafting replies in my voice
- Following up on actions and keeping projects on track
- Translating verbal ideas into clear next steps
- Coordinating travel and handling changes calmly
- Researching topics in leadership, tech, culture, and trends
- Supporting meetings, events, and occasional hosting
- General admin, expenses, and document prep as needed
How I Like to Work
- Face-to-face and verbal communication matters
- I value authenticity over polish
- My mind moves quickly (I have ADHD), so I need someone who can help refocus and slow things down when needed
- I work best with someone proactive who can redirect without controlling
- Trust, discretion, and good judgement are essential
You’re Likely a Good Fit If You…
- Have experience supporting founders or senior leaders
- Think quickly and adapt easily when plans change
- Are organised but not rigid
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Are comfortable reminding someone to eat, pause, or refocus
- Enjoy turning complexity into order
- Take confidentiality seriously
- Are comfortable with digital tools and SAAS systems
- Are passionate about AI
- Have good knowledge of Apple software
This role is not ideal if you prefer strict routines, minimal interaction, or fully written instructions before acting.
