Job Title: Part-Time Personal Assistant / Operations Support (Brighton)

Join the founder of Betty & The Brands, a bold concept store in the heart of Brighton championing 40 sustainable, independent brands, artists and makers. This role is about more than admin — it’s hands-on, practical support that enables a neurodivergent founder with ADHD to work at her best, while keeping a busy multi-brand business organised behind the scenes.
This is a high-impact part-time role (10 hours/week) — ideal for someone proactive, detail-driven and confident managing a wide mix of admin, coordination, systems and follow-through.
This role is self-employed and paid hourly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Founder support + accountability: weekly planning, reminders, time-blocking, prioritising tasks, tracking actions + deadlines
- Inbox + WhatsApp management: drafting replies, flagging urgency, chasing responses, keeping comms moving
- Staff rota coordination: updating rota, handling cover swaps calmly, keeping staff comms clear
- Brand support + contracts: onboarding admin, preparing agreements, keeping records tidy, polite but firm follow-ups
- Sales reports + spreadsheets (core): accurate monthly sales reports for ~40 brands
- Systems + organisation: keeping Google Drive tidy, creating simple checklists/templates, improving workflows
- Stock/admin support: flagging issues, tracking what’s needed, supporting basic ordering/inventory tasks
- Shopify/ecommerce support (desirable): product uploads, listings tidy-up, backend admin (training provided)
Essential Skills & Experience
✅ You must have:
- 2+ years in a PA / Admin / Operations / Project Support role
- Strong spreadsheet skills + high attention to detail (reporting accuracy is essential)
- Confident using Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Calendar, Docs)
- Excellent written communication (clear, warm, professional)
- Highly organised, proactive, calm under pressure — you follow things through
- Comfortable supporting a founder with ADHD (structure + accountability support)
- Able to provide two recent references
Desirable
⭐ Bonus if you have:
- Shopify / ecommerce experience
- Retail / fashion / small business background
- Experience improving systems and making things run smoothly
