About:

The National Digest is a leading online publisher connecting our audience with engaging digital content throughout the areas of current events, lifestyle, and various industries.

We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join our team remotely and drive revenue by providing businesses with custom branded content opportunities within our publication(s).

Throughout the course of our paid training program, our Senior Sales Executive will work alongside our Sales Director and Management.

Position:

The National Digest is dedicated to providing authoritative and thought-provoking insights into trending topics and the latest happenings. From hard-hitting stories about what’s unfolding within the White House, to hot tips on how to decorate your bedroom on a budget, our publication is dedicated to delivering news that is equal parts factual, beneficial, and entertaining.

We wish to feature meaningful branded content pieces on our expanding digital news platforms — advertorial articles that provide both our readers with interesting and relevant content, while also empowering clients with brand exposure.

This position is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated, charismatic, and driven sales professional who can develop relationships with businesses. This role requires being articulate with a strong understanding of our audience in order to implement an impactful branded content campaign, aligned with our publication’s mission.

The ideal candidate will possess a creative mindset and has the ability to go beyond traditional sales tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Seek new clients to establish, grow, and maintain quality ongoing partnerships
  • Collaborate with clients in developing innovative content programs
  • Work alongside our Sales Director and Management by contacting businesses and helping them expand their PR efforts with branded content
  • Use of our CRM platform and phone system
  • Meeting monthly and quarterly sales performance goals

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in advertising sales, digital marketing sales or telesales
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate with a sales team

Compensation:

  • PAID TRAINING
  • UPON COMPLETION OF TRAINING: $35,000 base + 20% commission

All interviews and training will be conducted remotely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
