Overview
I am a full time beauty influencer seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant (Part Time) to join my team. This position requires only about 10 hours per week, so it’s perfect for someone doing other remote work or who has other social media clients. Starting pay is $30/hr, paid as a flat fee for 10hrs/week. Guaranteed pay bump after 6 months of employment + 2 weeks of paid personal time off per year.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in social media, and a strong understanding of social media platforms, editing, affiliate linking, and creating striking visuals.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos to create dynamic, elevated short form content for Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube shorts
- Manage and schedule social media posts 6 days a week (Monday-Thursday plus Saturday and Sunday). Includes in-feed and IG stories.
- Cross-post videos on LTK with appropriate affiliate links
- Design eye-catching graphics on Canva (or a similiar application) for video thumbnails and still posts
- Support branding initiatives by ensuring visual consistency across all digital platforms.
- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand tone before publishing.
- Perform maintenance tasks (such as organizing videos into playlists, removing bot followers, etc) on an as-needed basis
Experience & Other Requirements
- Prior experience working in social media or other digital marketing is required; and a strong knowledge of social media trends is essential.
- Proficiency with applications such as CapCut, Canva etc for editing and designing graphics
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in content creation.
- Prompt communication and ability to execute quick turn-arounds
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $1,200.00 per month
