Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and creative Social Media Assistant to support our growing online brand. This role involves simple online tasks, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to grow into a permanent position. Work is fully remote, with part-time, zero-hours availability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and post content across our social media platforms
- Engage with followers in comments, messages, and stories
- Assist with updating countdowns, announcements, and daily posts
- Repost content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Help write simple captions and engagement prompts
- Track basic analytics such as reach, views, and interactions
- Support the team with small online admin or marketing tasks
- Maintain a positive and professional tone while representing the brand
Experience and Requirements:
Essential:
- Basic understanding of social media platforms
- Good spelling, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain brand style
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Access to a smartphone or laptop and internet connection
- Confidence speaking on camera
Preferred (not essential):
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools
- Previous social media management or marketing experience
Training will be provided for all responsibilities.
Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £11.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 12 per week
