Weekend Virtual Assistant – Low Volume Calls | Central/Eastern Time | $250/mo Contract

We’re a New Jersey–based house cleaning company looking for a weekend virtual assistant to cover light client calls, messages, and scheduling while making sure everything runs smoothly. This is a contract role with a flat $250/month pay for steady weekend coverage.

If you’re looking for hourly pay or a full-time job, this is not for you.

It’s ideal for someone who’s home on weekends, dependable, and enjoys keeping things organized with light but steady responsibilities.

What the Work Looks Like

  • Weekend coverage: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Eastern)
  • Calls: usually 1–3 per day, some weekends up to 5 calls, and some days none at all. Clients may call for last-minute bookings, and you’ll arrange an appointment and assign an available cleaner when needed.
  • Texts & emails: respond to client or cleaner messages (e.g., reschedules, late arrivals, cleaner getting access into building).
  • Operations check: a light weekend review to make sure everything’s running smoothly. It can be done anytime on Saturday or Sunday and usually takes 30–60 minutes depending on activity.
  • Make sure all clients are assigned to cleaners and no bookings overlap.
  • Check that all calls and messages have been followed up.
  • Leave a short daily note summarizing updates or anything needing attention Monday.
  • Small admin or creative tasks: optional light work such as posting a short social media update, organizing notes, or sending client follow-ups.

You’ll Do Well If You

  • Speak and write English fluently
  • You’re confident answering the phone
  • Reply quickly when calls or messages come in
  • Manage schedule and keep everything organized
  • Pay attention to small details
  • Have managed cleaning or other service businesses schedules (a plus)

Requirements

  • Must live in the Central or Eastern time zone
  • Available Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM–4:30 PM Eastern
  • Comfortable using simple online tools like Google Calendar, email, and chat apps
